COC Day Care Center started 6 months ago, based on the Australian education system and catering for children aged 3-7 yrs old, is taking enrollments for the 2012- 13 school year.

Many are sold or forced into a virtual slavery by their own families who are lured by promises of financial gain.  Still other are duped into believing that they will travel to another place in order to work as waitresses or house keepers.  Once they have arrived, their traffickers bring them into the bondage of prostitution through threats, drug addiction, and other means.  Most are threatened with their lives or the lives of their family members if they attempt to escape.

Second Chance ministry is a new initiative started by the Haven Foundation to bring real and lasting solutions to this epidemic as well as help those who have been lured in by the financial gain of prostitution or but are looking for a real way out.

We endeavor to support indigenous Pastors and Leaders in Asia not by paying them salaries, which we feel is counterproductive many times to the Gospel’s progress, but rather through highly practical Bible Training, ongoing strategic training, church and orphanage construction help, and self support projects.

HAVEN: Hope| Education| Vision| Education| New Life

We are in the process of building at least two new Children’s Homes here in Thailand with plans for more both in Thailand and a neighboring country.  For years we have rented facilities and now feel that this is the time for a place to call our own.

But we need your help.

We have already purchased a great piece of land and are now in the process of raising capital to build two new dorms, one for our Haven boys and the other for our Haven girls.  Our desire is to keep the children together in smaller groups with a house parent over each of them.  In this way, we hope to give them a greater feeling of family and belonging.
