Training Local Workers

Under the direction of Dr. Jane Edwards and Haven staff, training seminars are held regularly for children’s homes workers and NGO staff.

Courses include:

Back to Basics:

a basic health and hygiene course for children’s home workers.  Dr. Jane utilizes the book “Where There is No Doctor” in the Thai language as a text book.

DAART:

Disaster Aid and Relief Training: This course teaches teams how to mobilize, organize, and execute aid in the case of a natural disaster.

These courses are held on an ongoing basis and serve to equip more people for the work of ministry.
