Linking Purpose and Vision
At COC Thailand, we are linking purposes and visions and walking together to fulfill the purposes of God.
COC Thailand’s affiliated member churches are joined to the network through mutual relationship, common vision, and a heart to see their communities reached with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
These churches have their own leadership teams and are distinctive in their ministry emphasis and culture, yet they are called together with others in the network to accomplish the divine mandate given for their nation.
Member churches can be planted with either Thai or foreign leadership with the goal of raising up national leaders. The goal of every church is that it would be self-supporting, self-governing, and self-propagating.
Do you have a heart to plant a unique Spirit Filled Church or organization in Thailand?

COC Affiliated Member Churches
- Abundant Grace Church-Chiang Mai
Abundant Grace Church located in Chiang Mai Thailand is an affiliated member church of COC Thailand. We believe that Abundant Grace is a great model of what a modern church can look like in a growing Asian city like Chiang Mai.
This growing and dynamic church is led by Pastors Nathan and Salila Gonmei. Pastor Nathan Gonmei has been in the full time ministry for almost 10 years. The call of God has taken him to many Asian nations to proclaim the Gospel. He carries within him a passion to see lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Salila is, first of all, a very devoted wife and mother. She also shares the same passion for the work of the Gospel as her husband, Pastor Nathan and is a constant source of encouragement, love, and support. She is actively involved in ministry herself and translates all of Pastor Nathan’s sermons into the Thai language each week.
- Khon Kaen International Church
In January 2007 Per and Marielle Gisselsson moved to North Eastern Thailand to start a mission base together with a host of young Spirit filled missionaries from Sweden. In February of 2008, the Khon Kaen International Church was planted and continues to grow and thrive under their leadership and that of their Thai Pastors, Nueng and Ruth.
They, and all of their team, became affiliated missionaries with COC Thailand and continue to build a strategic base in the Northeast of Thailand. They are sent by their home mission organization, Mission SOS, which was founded by the talented Swedish evangelist Johannes Amritzer.
Two large festivals were carried out within the few years of the work which touched the lives of thousands of Thai people in Khon Kaen. In the fall of 2010, KKIC rented new facilities in the center of town and are expanding their church’s outreach to include the Thai and International community of the center city region of Khon Kaen. In the future, we hope to see more strategic bases like Khon Kaen planted throughout Thailand.
